Ministry Trips are God initiated, life-long changing experiences intended to help students see the world as God does by serving others while developing personal faith and community.
iNTERSECT has 5 opportunities in 2010 to serve on ministry trips. All the details aren’t quite in yet on all the trips, but here is what we have so far. Click on the name of the trip you are interested in to download the application.
Bridgetown in Portland, OR – March 30-April 3 – Cost $250
Loving people as Christ does – Growing as stewards of our resources – Sharing Jesus through word and deed.
Application and Balances due March 20.
Warm Springs near Madras, OR – June 26-July 3 – Cost approx $450 (goes towards building and VBS supplies)
Vacation Bible School – Work Projects – Learning about Native American
Open Door Ministries- Denver, CO – August 2-9 – Cost approx $400
For the time you are in Denver as an Urban Missions group, you are the heart and hands of Jesus with us on…work projects, vacation bible school with inner city kids, prayer walks and evangelism.
Arandas, MX – Date and Cost TBA
For the past four years, Bethel has partnered with local pastors and evangelists to help spread God’s truth in the city of Arandas. With the kids, we will play games, sing praise songs, do puppet shows, make crafts, and teach valuable Bible lessons in order to ultimately share the good news of Jesus Christ with them. We may also have an opportunity to do other outreaches to teenagers and adults in the evenings. In addition to reaching out to non-Christians, our goal is also to encourage and lift up in prayer those few Christians in Arandas who faithfully shine God’s light there year-round.
El Salvador – Date and Cost TBA

In order to participate in these service projects, you must have a Bethel Participation Agreement on file. Please print one, fill it out and bring it to Michelle in the church office, by the day before the project you want to help in.
